Green Care Care, Pro­fes­sional Car Wash, Car Valet­ing & Car Detailing

Green­Valet was estab­lished in 2009 as a pri­vately owned & funded Irish com­pany to pro­vide a Non Toxic Pro­fes­sional Car Valet­ing & Clean­ing Ser­vice that deliv­ers excep­tional results.  This was no small chal­lenge.  Car Clean­ing & Non Toxic are words rarely if ever used in the same sen­tence. How­ever, Green­Valet has suc­ceededin its endeav­ours & it really is some­thing quite spe­cial.  It has rev­o­lu­tionised tra­di­tional car clean­ing  by devel­op­ing an eth­i­cal & green car care alter­na­tive.  Green­Valet wanted to step away from tra­di­tional meth­ods, exist­ing ‘water­less’ tech­nol­ogy for many rea­sons, not least of them being that most of these prod­ucts are inef­fec­tive, not com­mer­cially applic­a­ble, dan­ger­ous & expen­sive. We believed this could be achieved by apply­ing the appro­pri­ate research & devel­op­ment (which took over a year) to find the solu­tion.  The end result of this R&D, exten­sive test­ing & tech­nique devel­op­ment is a sim­ple, low cost, highly effec­tive non toxic sys­tem.  The beauty of this sys­tem is that it can be used with an exist­ing sys­tem, mak­ing it Non Toxic, or used in a restricted water capac­ity where water is becom­ing an issue whether due to cost or pol­lu­tion.  It is an extremely ver­sa­tile solu­tion, suit­able for any busi­ness, exist­ing Valeters, Car Deal­er­ships or any­one look­ing to open a new Valet­ing business.

Green­Valet uses a com­pre­hen­sive tech­nol­ogy of tried, tested & ver­i­fied, chem­i­cal free & mainly water­less solu­tions to clean cars, inside & out. These nat­ural solu­tions are applied using a car care sys­tem Green­Valet has devel­oped, to pro­duce an immac­u­late & green clean. Our solu­tions pro­vide a more effec­tive, cheaper & faster clean than tra­di­tional meth­ods but also re-conditions & pro­tects cars from fur­ther dam­age & ensures clean­ing becomes eas­ier & less fre­quent in the future.

Green­Valet was set up entre­peneur – Ger­ar­dine Scan­lan. Dri­ven by the belief that there is a dras­tic need to change how we clean, using lit­tle or no water & using nat­ural prod­ucts that would not harm the envi­ron­ment.  There was no real alter­na­tives in the mar­ket for clean­ing cars pro­fes­sion­ally.  Water­less tech­nol­ogy has been around for years but is inef­fec­tive & com­mer­cially not applic­a­ble due to time taken to com­plete a job & exces­sive cost.  Also, it became clear through exten­sive research that there was only a hand­ful of chem­i­cal com­pa­nies pro­duc­ing the same prod­ucts just with dif­fer­ent labels for sup­pli­ers.  Most prod­ucts are sol­vent based petro­leum dis­til­late in a spray bot­tle.  Also, ‘Green’ or ‘Eco’ prod­ucts were far from ‘Eco’. Often labels are just removed from exist­ing bot­tles & a ‘Green’ or ‘Eco’ label applied.  This does not make a prod­uct Eco friendly. There is no reg­u­la­tion or polic­ing of any prod­uct sold to Car Valeters.  Green­Valets mis­sion was to future proof the sys­tem so that it would pass any reg­u­la­tions, health & safety or pol­lu­tion com­pli­ancy or sol­vent laws. This meant ensur­ing that the sys­tem was to go the whole hog & become 100% Non Toxic.  Not only that but to ensure that there was no trade off for being Non toxc, that the sys­tem out per­for­mend any other prod­uct on the mar­ket.  We have achieved our goal.

Our next chal­lenge is to deploy this alter­na­tive to other busi­nesses so they have the ben­e­fits of this research & devel­op­ment.  Busi­nesses can now avail of a sys­tem that makes them 100% com­pli­ant, reduces water bills, reduces prod­uct cost, improves Valet­ing results, improves effi­ciency to a sig­nif­i­cant level to allow the busi­ness to take on more work improv­ing revenue.
